Africa United Broadcasting Agency (AUBA) is a pan-African, journalist-led media organization founded in 2025 by 31 journalists from across Africa. AUBA is collectively owned and governed by journalists, ensuring full editorial independence and accountability.
The organization operates as a digital-first broadcasting platform, currently active through YouTube and online streaming, with plans to expand to FM and satellite broadcasting. AUBA focuses on delivering independent, verified, and solutions-oriented journalism, while amplifying grassroots voices, promoting cross-border dialogue, and preserving Africa’s cultural heritage.
Broadcasting primarily in Kiswahili, with expansion into English, French, and Arabic, AUBA serves audiences across Africa and the diaspora. Headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda, AUBA represents a new model of African-owned, journalist-driven media, reclaiming Africa’s narrative with accuracy, dignity, and pride.
